Our client is a well-known financial institution, and they are seeking multiple senior-level Software Engineers with strong experience in Java and prior experience in developing electronic trading platforms for the financial services industry.

- Analyze business requirements, design and implement solutions, and develop software components as defined by the SDLC
- Collaborate with other teammates/sub-teams to develop backend services and support new feature development and enhancements
- Participate in the evolution of architecture and delivery approaches within the development community
- Share knowledge of software engineering techniques with the rest of the team
- Ensure project delivery with good quality and adherence to agreed standards
skills & experiences required.
- Minimum 7+ years of software development experience; with solid project experience in developing trading platform in the banking/financial services/cryptocurrency/fintech industry (in-house or through a tech consulting firm/service provider will also be considered)
- Strong knowledge of financial products and the business logic/operation of low-latency trading platforms.
- Experience in Java 8 (or above), Spring Boot, MS SQL, RESTful API, Oracle DB, etc.
- Proficiency in microservices, integration patterns, algorithms, SDLC, data structures, etc.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and Ansible is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (either Cantonese or Mandarin); and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit
